YAY OR NAY: Marc Jacobs Robert Lesley leather tote

yayornay_marcjacobs_robertlesley.jpg

Looking a bit like peacock feathers, this tote by Marc Jacobs has little multi-coloured metallic woven squared dotted across the blue leather body and criss-crossed with blue quilt stitching. There is a colour clash of sorts with the burgundy handle and shoulder strap, and the colourful-ness if finished off with more metallic and blue in the floral tassels that swing off the gold padlock on the front. For me, this a lot going on for one bag, so while I don't find it particularly unattractive, it won't be added to my bag wishlist anytime soon. What do you think? Is it being added to yours? Vote below.

YAY OR NAY: Sonia Rykiel gold patent bow clutch

sonia_rykiel_yay_or_nay.jpg

Gold patent leather, gorgeous bows and Sonia Rykiel. These three things should all add up to equal one heck of a bag and actually, in my humble opinion, they kind of do. However, I understand that bows don't appeal to all people, and the same can be said for gold patent leather (granted, I'm not sure you would've ever seen it before - I don't think I have!) So what do you reckon? Glam or garish? Vote in our poll below.

YAY OR NAY: Miu Miu graduated leather tote

miumiu_graduated_leather_tote.jpg

The gold and crystal detailing on this bag is gorgeous beyond belief, but the question is, can it save a bag that closely resembles the drapes in my grandparents' house? I have nothing against the graduated leather, and while the colours aren't completely hideous, I can't help but wonder what this bag would have looked like in different shades of blue or even grey. Is the brown ruining this bag? What do you think? Let your thoughts be known by voting in our poll below.

YAY OR NAY: Balenciaga latticed City bag

balenciaga_latticed_city_bag.jpg

This bag looks a bit like it's been made up of a whole lot of leftover party streamers from the bash you had the night before. However, unsurprisingly, considering it's a Balenciaga City bag, it's not streamers but in fact latticed lambskin leather in shades of pink, green, blue, white and brown. Interesting colour combination and interesting "update" on the usually very classic City. Browns reckon it's great for summer - but what do you reckon? Let us know in the poll below.

YAY OR NAY: Fendi multi-coloured python baguette

yay_or_nay_fendi_python_baguette.jpg

Fendi keep finding themselves on the end of my weekly Yay or Nay rants (although not for a while) and I must admit I do feel slightly bad about that. But seriously guys, when you're coming up with multi-coloured python (as seen pictured above) and fringed zebra print, you're automatically creating a fence whereby people are going to decide on which side they sit.

And once more we are here, choosing sides. Python is an 'exotic skin' which certainly gets luxury bag devotees excited. So do you like how this multi-coloured python baguette would add a rainbow of vibrant colour into your life or would you prefer to keep it far, far away? Vote in our poll below.

YAY OR NAY: Thomas Wylde Ibiza suede bag

yayornay_thomas_wylde_ibiza_bag.jpg

This bag by Thomas Wylde to me completely sums up summer: music festivals, beach-going, lazy days in the park, wandering cobbled streets in Europe, lounging around with mates in a beer garden, partying in Ibiza (of course, given the name)... and so on. I can imagine it being my constant companion for all of these activities and you know, it very well would be, if the price wasn't an extortionate £1,780 (from Net-a-Porter). What do you think of it?

YAY OR NAY: Alexander McQueen Neon panel clutch

mcqueen_neon_clutch.jpg

Some will find this clutch by Alexander McQueen a joy. And others will find it completely garish. It's funny how neon creates this kind of divide between people. Sported by models on the runway, some of you would argue you may have greater difficulty incorporating this bold piece into your everyday "normal person" wardrobe. But others would come back and say that's part of the fun of fashion. This little debate could rage on forever, so I'm just going to ask you: do you like it or no? Vote below in our poll.

(P.S. It's a not-so-cheap £484 from Net-a-Porter... that fact alone might swing you one way or the other.)
