Saks Fifth Avenue is throwing a quicky two-day online sale, and slashed 50%-60% off regular prices. There are about a hundred lovely handbags to peruse, and the inventory includes some very popular highlights from last season. I have mixed feelings about Fendi's embellished lace 'B' bag, but for those who love it, its down from US$5,190 to US$3,632.90. Also, get your hands on the ridiculously high-demand YSL downtown tote for a mere US$776, down from US$1295. Not bad!

The Nordstrom's half yearly sale is one of my FAVORITE sale events of the year, because the service/shipping/return policies over there are spectacular, and the selection ain't bad either. I gotta warn ya'll, the online inventory isn't nearly as vast as their in-store offerings, so I urge ya'll to head to your local Nordies to get the best of the discounts. Among my favorites; the Marc Jacobs 'Diane' satchel down to US$654 from US$1095, and the MJ 'Saloni' has cut off a whooping US$500 big ones for a new total of US$809.90.

There are so many gorgeous handbags on sale that I don't know where to start at all. Almost every high end designer handbag I've ever oogled is reduced on Net-A-Porter right now! The Chloe 'Maggie', the Jimmy Choo 'Ramona' and 'Ruse', Fendi 'B' bags, Anya, Bottega, Paddington... I'm getting goosebumps just typing this. Check out some choice picks besides the aforementioned favorites (clockwise): the Marc Jacobs quilted bowling bag in blue is now US$472.50 (was $675), a Bottega Veneta 'Intrecciato' panel bag is now US$1596 (was US$2660), a beautiful Burberry London wallet reduced to US$198 (from US$330), and an adorable Chloe chain bag/clutch for US$714 (was US$1020.) Oh my god, these bags are now (almost) affordable!

Yes, indeed, yet another sample sale that is available online. God, I hope thats a trend that'll catch! I'm not often in London, New York or Los Angeles nowadays, and us non-big-city girls love sample sales, too! Yoox has Diesel, 7 jeans, and even mens clothing all available through its sample sale with cuts up to 90% off, but my eye is on the handbags of course. Check out that beautiful Megan Park cotton/leather bag with that awwessome swirly embroidery. Yoox slashed off 65%, dropping the price down from US$312 to US$109. Wow! The sale ends June 4th, girls, so pick out your favorites quick.

I wouldn't normally have done my research for Bag Lady on weekends, but since there are a few very limited, time sensitive sales going on this weekend, I thought I'd make an exception. Check out the Freedy&Ma sample sale with stock available online right now - they only have one of each type of bag available and some huuuge cuts off their normal asking prices. As with most sample sales, these bags were used for promotional photos and what not, and some of them are one of a kind, like the above pictured chocolate Sara Jensen yellow floral hobo. Enjoy!

Anya Hindmarch's website just sent out an update to US customers who a re looking to pre-order her bag that isn't plastic. Apparantly, pre-order entitlements will be given to only a select few of those registered for email updates via her website, since Anya expects the site to be clobbered upon release. (Quit fooling yourself about the popularity of your bag, Anya - at least half of those folks are eBay power sellers.) So if you'd like to be considered for the lucky few, sign up for email updates while you still have time on her site. She's just now released locations and details on quantities and prices and what not - all now viewable on her site. Girls, brace yourself for June 20th.

We gushed about the YSL reversible tote on Bag Lady several times now (here, and here). So when the Nordstrom salesgirl whispered to me that one would drop to US$800 from US$1295 on June 6th, I weaned myself of my attachment to the Christian Louboutin 'Iron' bag and put in an order for the YSL! At first, I could not decide between the brown/gold, the purple/silver and the gold/silver totes, but apparantly only the brown/gold one would be discounted so that made up my mind for me. The leather is soft and sturdy, extremely light and manages to look great without much fuss or embellishment. Unlike other huge slouchy bags I've seen, the YSL reversible retains its shape because it sports a firm bottom with little studded feet on both the gold and brown sides to protect it when it is set down. And of course, its reversible so it feels like a doubly great buy! If you like what you see, call your local Nordies to see if they'll be putting any on sale on June 6th!
