If you're lucky enough to live in California, or just happen to be passing through sometime in April, then you might want to check out a Macy's store near you...
Between 12-20 April, Gwen Stefani's ever-giggling Harajuku Girls - Love, Angel, Music and Baby - will be touring around and autographing these 'super kawaii' (that's super cute in Japanese) limited edition Harajuku Lovers totes which are free to the first 250 people who spend $50 on Harajuku Lovers products. We suggest you get there early!
Woohoo! It's sample sale season again. Just last week Zara and I checked out the Lulu Guinness sample sale where some of her iconic bags were reduced to £50 and sunglasses for just £25. This week is the turn of Orla Kiely. We did a video review of her store in August and got a sneak preview of some of the collection which you might expect to see at the sample sale. It will be taking place Thurs 6th - Sun 9th December at the Old Truman Brewery, 15 Hanbury Street, E1 6QR . The sale will include clothes, accessories, and bags. Just a reminder about the fab new moblog we've set up in conjunction with LG, and the competition we're running, where two lucky UK-ites can win an LG Viewty mobile phone each. Pretty special, obviously!
We’re looking for two UK photo bloggers to help us by taking portrait snaps of those who you think best sums the true essence and style of the UK. We’ve teamed up with blog networks from Germany, Spain, France and The Netherlands to create the ultimate pan-European blog City Clickers.
At the moment, our Euro-friends are totally kicking our butts in this comp, so show off your patriotic side by getting out there and snapping what you see. Basically, if you can post 10 photos a month then we want to hear from you!
Winners will receive a brand new LG Viewty phone and will have their bill paid for 2 months. To find out how to enter and to see what other people have photographed, click here.

I've always wanted runched long leather gloves look, especially since the weather's getting cooler even in California, so I was extremely pleased to see the Vera Wang 'Simply Vera' by Kohl's offer up a pair for less than US$75 (now US$52.50). Do I want pre-runched leather gloves, though, or am I resourceful enough to buy long leather gloves and runch them myself? These'll look fantastic with the fall and winter coats soon to show up in retail stores everywhere (I can't wait for the sales...*drool.*) The brown is a lovely shade and carries a faint tint of red. The pleating, however, looks rather flattened... I hope that will fill out a bit when the gloves are worn regularly.
