If you're up for spending a cool couple of hundred on a wallet (it seems crazy, but it's perhaps preferable to the couple of hundred cheap ones I've bought and subsequently destroyed in my time) then you could do a lot worse than choosing a nice bold item from Marc Jacobs' current line in purses. He's still on a leopard print kick here, with proof that his classic 'Q' wallet can indeed change its spots.

It looks like acid brights are here to stay in accessories - at least for the time being. Jimmy Choo's not the only one who's been a bit heavy-handed with the highlighter pens of course, as Marc Jacobs is also doing a big line in luminosity at the moment.
My attention was grabbed today by this 'Leo' printed nylon tote bag, which I think would make the perfect carry-case for a small laptop or netbook. Its fabric brings down the cost considerably for a Marc Jacobs bag, and this would be a great companion while travelling.

The Outnet are selling this dreamy pale blue 'Faridah Totally' hobo bag at 40% off today, which makes it an affordable investment at £196. Hobo-style bags have become absolutely red hot recently (perhaps it's recessionista chic having a joke with us) and although pale colours are a little 'summery', this one is close enough to the slate greys that are out in force this autumn and winter, so it's a good timely buy.
