Boho is totally back in! And what better time to embrace the look than right now, while the weather is making floaty skirts and sandals a possibility once again?
Marc Jacobs has struck while the iron is hot, with this fabulous 'pixie' bag that's liberally covered in sun-catching studs. It's a bit of a variant on the usual hippie pouch bag, which you'd expect to be decorated with beads. It works pretty well, bringing the look up to date - and I particularly love the perforated strap.

If you thought this Louis Vuitton collection looked a little different from LV's usual style, there's a good reason for that: it's been designed by none other than Marc Jacobs.
Featuring MJ's a hint of signature utilitarian style and some truly fabulous brocade fabrics, the range works beautifully alongside LV's established motifs. There are some seriously desirable pieces here which, according to Jacobs' wishes, will appeal to women of all ages. We love the laptop-shape top handle bags, which combine functionality and style just beautifully.
There's a definite 'back to school' feel about Marc Jacobs' Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, which may be a bit drab and utilitarian for those with wilder tastes, but that's often the case with MJ's work. I happen to think his approach lends itself very well to this collection, with its sturdy buckles, luggage-style straps and upholstery.

For the more glamour-inclined, the high-gloss patent black satchel is both super smart and sexy, while the small chain bag is a great marriage of practicality and style. Once again, the darker colours predominate, but the choice of bright orange is a bold step outside the norm.
The runway collections at New York Fashion Week are starting to flood in, and one designer whose accessories always cause a fashion week stir is Marc Jacobs. Showcasing pieces that are as functional as they are desirable, the designer's Monday night show at Lexington Avenue Armory did not disappoint.
The big weave pieces of the summer are replaced with wooly, strokable textures that just demand to be grabbed. We love the bobbled clutch bag pictured right. Elsewhere, dappled leathers and classic styling predominate.

This lavish, quilted handbag in "metallic yellow" (or "gold" to the common shopper) is a Marc Jacobs style that's still red hot, but has had its price knocked by 60% over at The Outnet.
I can see this being a great buy prior to the summer season, as the sunny shade is going to be all the rage, while Chanal has proven to all of us that quilting isn't going to be going anywhere soon. Not quite a bargain, but definitely good buy territory!

Marc Jacobs was clearly enjoying the opportunity to spend some quality time with partner Lorenzo Martone while on holiday in St Barts - by hitting the shops hard! And judging by the size of that carrier bag it had been a pretty successful haul.
Marc's Manbag of choice is currently the buff Hermes Birkin he's carrying here. I wonder if Lorenzo's bought himself a matching accessory to match the identikit beard and tat combos?

Even if you can't be warm this winter, your bag can stay toasty. Just looking at this plush, sheepskin hobo by Marc Jacobs makes me feel cosy inside, and somehow that makes it just the sort of accessory I want on my arm. Even the strap would add a bit of extra padding!
Marc Jacobs' tan sheepskin hobo is also available in an adorable chocolate-brown shade, which is available at the same price. Both are unusual styles for MJ, but they still have the signature utility pockets and monogrammed buckles, letting you stay chic even in extreme weather conditions!
