Keeping your treasured laptop in top nick is always important but though there are a plethora of black and hot pink bags available, don't you ever wish you could cart your baby around in something a little more stylish? This lovely case is embroidered with a shabby chic-esque deer design and fits laptops of up to 17 inches. The case contains 4mm of memory foam on the inside to hold your baby nice and snug and it has a neoprene outer shell to make it hardwearing. It's £62 from Funktion Alley

We're a big fan of stylish laptop bags here at Shiny, and Knomo tend to top our list for merging functionality with style. Their latest Carnaby range is perfect for the tumultuous spring weather, as they come in an array of black and brown patent and leather finishes.
They're designed to look like fashionista's handbags, and my favourite, the patent Sheya bag (pictured) is supremely roomy, with multiple pockets and places to store all your wires.

If you're like, the *only* person in the UK who isn't following Stephen Fry on Twitter (heh, how funny was his stuck-in-a-lift debacle earlier this week? *chuckles*) then you may not have heard about his latest purchase - a Paul Smith Coin Union Jack laptop bag which he has dubbed his "largeish... not effeminate" manbag.
Earlier today, he posted a pic of a lady at the airport holding it up which caused a little flurry in the Twitter-verse, as followers complimented/criticized his new purchase. Whether you like the bag or not, you can't deny it's kinda kooky, very British and quite clever (look closely and you'll see the coins form a Union Jack flag) and thus, the perfect bag for Mr Fry. What do you reckon?

Ok, so technically this is a boy's bag. But why should they get all the nice stuff?! Girly bags are all well and good - but sometimes you need a solid, dependable, sturdy kinda bag that will take your laptop, books, magazines, work files, industrial sized case of war paint.
The kind of bag that says "I can and will cope with whatever life throws at me. Which is why I love this tan leather messenger bag by Rocha.JohnRocha, £100 at Debenhams.

Here at Shiny Towers, we love Knomo's laptop, iPod cases and covers (the Shiny Shiny girls rave about them all the time) and we at The Bag Lady are also big fans of their luxury line. If you are too, you won't want to miss their sample sale which begins next Monday. Laptop bags which usually retail for up to £250 and iPod cases which normally go for £25 have been reduced by up to 85%. You're welcome!

If you're anything like me, you'll be drowning in more than enough web acronyms than you ever thought possible. In between puzzling statements that start with LOLcats and end with woot, there may be a place for this rather sweet laptop bag ($42 from Shop Intuition).
Carry it with you and even when terminology goes over your head, people will think you're just being coy. And if you have a sneaky second you can check the terminology cheat sheet that comes with it. TTYL!

This is quite possibly the prettiest laptop bag I've EVER seen. This wonderfully gorgeous Melania laptop bag from J:Tote doesn't really scream geek does it? It does however yell to the heavens that you're all about the geek chic.
As well as being an absolutely fabulous laptop bag, fitting any laptop up to 15-inches, it's made with eco-friendly materials - bamboo, suede, floral fabric and wooden beads and trims - which should definitely satisfy the eco-warrior in you.
And its greatness doesn't stop there...
