Crocodile skin Elephant keyring by Bottega Veneta

elephant.jpg
I understand that you need a keyring, I would definitely loose my keys if I didn't have one but isn't a crocodile skin one a little bit excessive? There is a constant debate within fashion over the uses of animal skins within clothing and accessories and often the argument for is that it is the best possible material available. I don't think that it is justified in the case of a keyring. My current keyring is a very small soft-toy monkey and it seems to work out fine for me. This new key ring is by Bottega Veneta and costs £85 from Browns online.

Crown key finder hook from Occasionally

yhst-12393171279215_1968_11152714.gif
Available from Occasionally this crown key finder hook, US$12.95, is designed to hook over the edge of your bag. You then hang your keys off the hook at the end and hey presto! You never have to search for your keys again. Of course, anyone who fancies stealing your keys from your bag could just unhook it and walk away, but I think it’s cute, and I guess you could just hang it from an inside pocket for a safer option.

Coin purse key fob from Coach

coach-keys.jpg

Always struggling to find coins and keys in the bottom of your handbag? Yes, me too. Struggle no more, though - this cute little key fob has a purse attached to it, so you can keep everything in one place: and, small though it is, if you attach it to the strap of your handbag, or one of the inner pouches, there'll be no more rummaging to content with, either! It's $68 at Coach, who can always be relied on to provide us with a cute key fob or three!

Cute keyfobs from Coach

coachfobs.jpg

I've never been much of a one to resist cute little cartoon animals, and I'm not really into resisting accessories either, if the truth be told. These Coach key fobs combine two of my favourite things, then - the aforementioned animals and affordable designer accessories. They're $38 each, which means that if you can't afford a Coach handbag, at least you know you can afford a Coach handbag accessory, and there are lots of designs to choose from, including the lion, toucan and slightly worried-looking frog pictured.

Would you really want a Giles for Mulberry mace keyring?

mace.jpg
What's going on in the world of accessories? First there was the machine gun handbag, then the pistol bag and now there's this leather mace keyring by Giles for Mulberry. "Naughty, but very nice" says the write-up at Harvey Nichols, but I'm not comfortable with this glamourising of weaponry. How about you?

Forzieri's exclusive Leonardo Delfuoco corset-themed keychain

Clipboardforziericuteclip.jpg

So apparently, in order to score one of these cute little corset-themed keychains, you have to endure quite a lot of promotional spam from Forzieri's "Privé" club, some OTT flash movies and annoying music. Step two: buy something from their debuting Leonardo Delfuoco "Privé" exclusive sale, hereby securing one of these little keychain dangles as a complimentary gift. Totally cute colors, and I'm always fond of corset details (see: Catwalk Queen's Wednesday Yay or Nay on Dita's fashions) but I don't know how much of this Forzieri spam I can take...

I love the love-owl keyring from Little Odd Forest

B0510.jpg
How cute is this love-owl keyring purse, US$26 from Little Odd Forest? It does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s a purse, a keyring and it looks like an owl. And I love it. Enough said.
There’s never enough said when you’re talking to a bag lover, so… it’s made from denim/cotton twill fabrics, so is nice and sturdy, and is big enough for your ipod, mobile or digital camera and as it’s got a zip pocket inside you can still carry change with you. Okay, enough said now.
