When I first laid eyes on this rather charming necklace, I must admit that I was surprised to see something so dainty being stocked at Dorothy Perkins! Although they're a chain well known for their bargains, this particular offering had a much more 'boutique' feel to it than usual. Fortunately, this is one time that you will get boutique-ish looks without the boutique-ish prices. You can pick yours up for £12!

Ah, Spring! Full of flowers, butterflies and colourful birds flitting about the garden - and it seems that Spring itself is the inspiration for the coming season's jewellery - or at least it is at Dorothy Perkins. If you want to wear your dreams of warmer weather on your sleeve (or around your neck, or from your ears), you can pick up the enamel hummingbird necklace for £6, the carved flower earrings for £6, and the flower and circle bracelet for £8.

As well as silver, electric and darker shades of blue are going to be making quite an impact this coming Spring / Summer. The trend is already littered across every Australian fashion store I've visited; and not surprisingly, the UK High Street is right on top of the trend. If you're feeling fashion forward, you can pick up this gorgeous blue leather shopper from Topshop, which would look stunning paired with a floaty dress and flip flops as you do your weekend shopping. At £55, it's a good price for what looks like soft, slouchy leather that will last for years!

I must say, I really am quite surprised by the results to the latest High Street Bag of the Week - Mango's slouchy grey tote won by a landslide! I really thought Diesel's purple 'boule' bag would trump, but no, it seems grey really is the colour du jour this season. I was pleased to see that Urban Outfitter's blatant YSL 'Muse' homage didn't receive a single vote, wasn't it horrid?!
Hop on over to our Shiny Fashion Forums, where the latest poll is up. This week, we're asking you which affordable high-street bag your vote belongs to. Is it the brown doctor bag from River Island, Mango's slouchy grey tote, Walmart's homage to the Fendi B, Diesel's purple Boule bag, or Urban Outfitters' YSL Muse inspired bag? It takes just 2 minutes to sign up to the fashion forums if you haven't already done so, so get a move on ladies!
