A while ago, Zara and I took a closer look at a couple of totes made from recycled fish paper from Cambodia. I took quite a liking to the eco bags and wanted to bag one for myself (sorry, couldn't resist that pun). Today I was having a quick look at the Topshop website and discovered that they have now caught on to the trend too! They have a whole range of eco friendly accessories on offer including this card holder. If you're a Londoner it would make the perfect oyster card holder or if you're a student, why not put your student card in it? It's £15 from Topshop.com.
Inspired by the glamour of old school Hollywood and vintage architecture this tote has taken work bags to a whole new level, combining a chic filing cabinet into tour bag and replacing the need for an unwieldy briefcase to carry all your papers in. I love the sleek exterior and it has extra personal touches such as embossed detailing and detachable leather straps. I'm not sure how great it would be in the rain , but you couldn't beat it for a boardroom meeting and it would make me feel very grown up and glamorous equally. It's $58 from Wishing Fish.

We filmed our 'What's in your bag' video last week so you probably don't yet know but I day-to-day I carry an awful lot of stuff around with me. Books, magazines, diary, lunchbox, thermos, make-up, you name it, I carry it. That's why I love this Miss Selfridge holdall (£55), not only is it 100% leather but it's also big enough for all my stuff. The small straps are great for slinging on your shoulder, and when your bag is full to the brim you can use the longer strap to wear the bag across your body so you don't get backache. Boring but true. Lastly, the soft tan colour goes great with darker brown hues and blacks and would look fab with a trench coat.

Kim is the Catwalk Queen head honcho and when she says socks are in believe you me they're in. I'm loving Prada's two-tone socks but while I can't afford the real thing I've hunted down some great alternatives. Tabio's wool acrylic mix socks (left and bottom) come in a range of six colours and will set you back a mere £14. Pantherella's socks available from Kurt Geiger (right, top two) also come in six colours but they have a higher wool content hence the £25 price tag wich is still pretty reasonable. Now if I could just afford a pair of Prada's patent fade heels to go with them...

Now I love a bit of Sushi, be it a sashimi roll or a nigiri salad, partly for the taste, and partly because it just look so good laid out on the plate, with the rice nestling among the vine leaves like little jewels. It almost seems like a shame to eat these delicious creations; well now it seems like the good folk at Shanalogic agree with me. They have created these hand made mini delights, from teriyaki rolls to egg fried rice and placed them between clear glass beads to show them off. The earrings are slices of tekkamakki rolls, and the whole set embodies Japanese chic and cool. For $30 this can all be yours, desert not included. The set comes packaged in a kitsch sushi-to-go box, which only adds to the naughty thrill of purchasing something so frivolous.

Deciding which bag to take to the beach or to a music festival always poses a problem to me. You don't want to make huge style sacrifices but a leather handbag just isn't appropriate! So when I spotted this duffel bag from Ollie & Nic I thought it was almost perfect for the summer (if the summer ever arrives).
This style is also available as a barrel bag, which is £60. The duffle bag (pictured) is £70 from the Ollie and Nic website. It's bright colours and style make it a perfect addition to the sportswear trend.

Often I can't afford to buy the luxurious real leather designer handbags that I want, and because of this I sometimes don't want to buy the fake leather high street kind either. Perfect for the summer, French Connections 'Riviera' bag is made from linen and cotton, and at £45.00 I really do think it looks far more expensive than it actually is. The colours are classic and you could easily dress down with it or use it for work. What do you think!?
