Yup, it's another yellow bag. Can you handle it? Not that it actually has a handle as such, as this very chic new style from Stella McCartney is a traditional clutch bag, with only a small gold chain attached for decoration.
My favourite element of this bag - apart from the fact of it being the second super-stylish veggie leather bag I've been able to feature today - is the beautifully scalloped texture on the fabric, which would make it an absolute joy to hold. Its TARDIS-like interior would comfortably house a little more than just the essentials, making this a perfect spring/summer bag, ready to be taken anywhere.

I spotted this rather lovely bag from Hive & Co on its 'maiden voyage' last night, perched on the arm of Sian, editor of Domestic Sluttery. It's one of those styles that you should only wear if you don't mind constant admiring comments, because these were coming thick and fast - and for good reason!
The 'Agnes' is a lovely size: small enough to be neat and chic, yet big enough for more than just the essentials - perhaps even a netbook if you like to work on the go. Best of all, it's made from the most convincing faux-leather I think I've ever seen or touched: it feels every bit as soft as the 'real thing'.
£50 from Hive & Co, available in ocre yellow (pictured) or purple.
There are so many exotic skins and unusual (animal) fabrics appearing in accessories at the moment that the vegan and non-leather brands are really having to up their game to compete. Fortunately, for the likes of Matt & Nat who've perfected the art of creating fabulous, tactile 'skins' that have never been near an animal - that's no trouble.
Having fallen head over heels in love with the brand's 'Japanese paper' range, it's great to see it applied to small (non) leather goods too, with the same irridescent colour and shine.

Recycling is the funnest way to find new and unusual materials for bags, as green accessory pioneers Worn Again have shown us time and again with their innovative parachute silk and car seat creations.
This season's collection is smart and sleek, perfect for the businessman or woman on the go. The 'Bon Voyage' collection incorporates a 'Euro Star' range with bags and accessories including the 'Pere Lachaise' pictured right (£21.75) made from decommissioned Eurostar train uniforms. The 'Virgin' range, including the 'Cheeky Sling', pictured left (£16.50) is even more exciting: its items are made from the retired Virgin hot air balloon, G-TVBF 'Tango', which completed over 500 flights.
The Eurostar and Virgin collection are both available from Worn Again.
What's not to love about this large, mock-croc handbag from Faith? If you don't want to tuck a real reptile's back under your arm (or can't afford it) then faking it is the way forward, and this satchel has got the look to scaly perfection.
The bag's got room for everything you might need on a working day and it looks the business too - smart and elegant with a suit or tough and statement-making on a night out.

If you prefer to keep your accessories animal-friendly but want all the same glamour and tactile joy that come from exotic skins, Matt & Nat are the label to watch. They use all sorts of clever techniques to create interesting textures and their styles are always cutting edge.
I'm a particular fan of the label's 'Japanese Paper' range, so was delighted to see it was on sale at the moment. This eyecatching 'Camden' bag has been reduced to £75, while many other styles have been slashed.

It-bags come and go, but in the case of the 'Paper Planes' bag range from too-cute-to-be-true online boutique Cloth Ears, I think the hype is justified. Every one of the bags in the collection is original and beautifully made with loads of DIY spirit and a real sense of fun.
My favourite from the range has got to be the overnight bag pictured here. It's a lovely, classic shape and is made from wipe-clean leather effect fabric which is often a bonus when travelling. The price for such an unusual piece is not bad either: it's £54 at Cloth Ears.
