As we inch nearer to the launch date for Jimmy Choo's debut H&M, I have got my mitts on the campaign images for the collection. Photographed by Terry Richardson, the ads show off the collection's sexy side with plenty of animal print and studs in bags, shoes and accessories.
Speculation is growing this week that Lily Allen might take her new-found modelling career to the next level by stepping onto the runway for the Chanel show in Paris next Tuesday. Why? Because she is the face of the label's new Cocoon handbag campaign of course! The popette was photographed by Karl Lagerfeld himself especially for the ads featuring oversized duvet and padded quilt bags. Ever since Madonna hit the red carpet at the Met Gala in those Louis Vuitton bunny ears, many have been left curious about them. Now, in this behind-the-scenes video of the label's autumn/winter 2009 campaign, Marc Jacobs gives us the lowdown: "There's a girl who works for us, Lucy, she's on the design team, and Adrian, one of the boys, was tying a little bit of fabric around and it reminded me of bunny. We were thinking of all these different things like can-can dancers, and I saw this piece of fabric wrapped around Lucy's head and said, 'Bunny ears, that's what we need to finish this look.' So we made all these radzimir bunny ears and that's how it happened. I like the kind of Playboy, French coquette aspect to it."
Photoshop is working overtime in the latest A/W 2009-10 ads from Madonna and the Louis Vuitton crew. The first image from the campaign was leaked last week, and now more have been uncovered. So far the reaction has been varied with many surprised by the amount of retouching that has taken place. Indeed Madge almost looks unrecognisable, I can't help but wonder if it's really her and not a mannequin. Did Marc Jacobs raid Madame Tussauds, perhaps?
A new image from what appears to be the Louis Vuitton's autumn/winter 2009-10 campaign, starring Madonna, has been leaked onto the internet. Although it is yet to be confirmed, the Marc Jacobs's-directed ad is said to one of several taken by Steven Meisel in April.
If those continuing pregnancy rumours are to be believed, then these pictures from Gisele Bundchen's new campaign for Loewe aren't helping any. The Brazilian supermodel has once again sparked rumours that she is expecting, after she was reportedly ecstatic over the news at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. She then fuelled further speculation when she took to the catwalk with her belly cleverly disguised. Now, Gisele fronts Stuart Vevers's latest handbag collection for Loewe with her stomach region also hidden beneath an array of gorgeous new leather goodies.
We're sure you'll agree with us when we say Christian Louboutin = art. And now his shoes and bags are art within art, appearing as the very beautiful centrepieces in an ad campaign shot by still life photographer Peter Lippmann . This ruffle purse, which we've loved and leered at before, looks even more beautiful in amongst the autumnal leaves.
