Temperley London set the tone for the A/W accessory collections today with some dark tan pieces toughened up with hardware, suggesting that the studded, utilitarian look is not going anywhere once the floral excesses of the summer are over.
The military styling on the belts, flat shoulder bags and pouchettes make a striking contrast with the floaty, monochrome styles showcased in the label's ready-to-wear collection at the Milk Studios earlier this week. Click on the image above to see the full set.
Therapy are a great label for more-expensive-than-it-looks chic, which is tricky to find in the quality-obsessed world of luggage. This bag hits all the right spots though, with a neat panel of miniature studs that echoes a lot of current designer gear and a tidy tassel at the side.
Built for hard work, the bag has two strong handles and an internal pocket to keep you organised on your travels. It would make an ideal weekender bag or everyday tote for the heavy traveller - I'd happily use it to carry my laptop, Filofax, scarf and other working week essentials.

Here's a seriously cute bag from Michael Kors, in a style we just can't get enough of. The classic satchel shape is given a fashion twist with a chunky, braided strap, double drawstring and super thick tassel.
Yellow is a key colour this season, and this is a particularly nice tarnished shade that will look fantastic with denim and darker colours as well as the summer's pastels and neutrals.

Nicky Hilton's been rocking next season's look with a pale bag covered in a galaxy of studs, shown here at a recent outing in Dan Tana's Hollywood restaurant. We can't all afford the Hilton sisters' luggage budget, but there are some fun, affordable interpretations of the look on the high street at the moment, including these two from New Look and Fiorelli.
Top left is New Look's fabulous diamond bag, an absolute steal at £25. Fiorelli's Mimosa studded bag (£55) is a great summer all-rounder. Take that, Hollywood!
Beach season will be hear before we know it (or even sooner if you can afford winter sun) and this cheery polka-dot tote by Emporio Armani has a real '50s seaside vibe to it that makes us think of holidays.
The hoop-style handles are what really gives this bag character and it's a look that's coming through in a lot of the season's bags. A great all-rounder, this is a bag you could take anywhere, giving your outfit an instant bright and breezy makeover.

I'm sharing this bag with you to day in honour of the beautiful blue sky that's finally set up residence above Bag Lady Towers, here in London. What a wonderful treat for us all, in this dismal and dingy winter.
Judith Leiber's latest wearable creature really captures the spirit of spring, and the gentle hue of the sky, which is why we love it so much at the moment. Like all of Leiber's pieces, it's a joy to behold in its own right, and costs as much as a small car. No wonder celebs can't get enough of her wares...

These neat zip-front handbags are new at Jones, and are hitting all the right spots for good quality, wearable and stylish handbags at a reasonable price. They remind me a tiny bit of Mulberry's Somerset range, which is a good thing considering I just failed to win one on Ebay *sob*...
Also available in cherry red, it's a cute, everyday style that will take more than just the essentials. A good choice for anyone who's not quite ready for designer, but doesn't want to buy throwaway tat that will quickly lose its shine. Is that a recommendation? Well I think so!
