Almost qualifying for 'odd accessory of the week', these envelope clutches by Maison du Posh have a slightly sinister jewelled hand embellishment that creates a sriking trompe l'oeil effect. The bags take obvious inspiration from Alexander McQueens iconic range of knuckleduster clutches, but these ones include the actual knuckles. They certainly can't be easy to carry!
While the clutches may not be entirely to the Bag Lady's taste they are nonetheless proving popular over at Selfridges where they retail from £395 to £575. Each clutch is made from luxury leather, treated to be seriously shiny and tough-looking, and the knuckle detail is embellished with oversized sparkling gemstones. They'd certainly get tongues wagging at cocktail hour!
