Jimmy Choo takes a 'Kawaii' twist: Devil Panda and Cayla clutch
Jimmy Choo, best known for sophisticated and elegant court shoes and matching handbags, has taken a bit of a new direction in its latest footwear and accessories collection, which has some refreshingly fun input from New York artist Rob Pruitt. The label has embraced Eastern embrace pop culture for autumn/winter 2012, going all-out with cutesy motifs, Judith Leiber-style Swarovski embellishment and a riot of opulent colours. And being the magpies that we are, we gravitated straight towards this adorable 'Devil Panda' minaudière clutch.
A good candidate for our most expensive bags of 2012 gallery, the mini clutch is a precious little gem of a bag that went on sale at Net-a-Porter for £9,500 (and then promptly sold out). We look forward to seeing it light up celebrity parties and red carpet events near us soon, then.
