We don't usually feature a lot of Gucci bags, especially with the Gucci print, as it's a pattern that hasn't aged particularly well. Partly I guess thanks to the chav culture of the 90s, that embraced fake Gucci and Burberry prints. Burberry have pulled it back a bit by concentrating on classic items, like their trench coats, but I feel like Gucci have still got a little way to go, at least with their accessories. Which is a shame, as it's really not their fault they were targeted by that culture!
But this Gucci coin purse is certainly a cute way to pull back their reputation. Hedgehogs are universally cute, despite the fact they're covered in spikes. This hedgehog coin purse has the same piggy little face, and studs covering the classic Gucci print to replicate the spikes.
The price is a little sharp though - £225 from
Net-A-Porter.
