We've seen a lot of fun comic book prints recently (not least from the lovely Janine Basil), which may or may not be influenced by the huge number of comic book movies we've seen in the last few year and will continue to see this year.
This 3.1 Phillip Lim Bang Patchwork Leather 31 Minute Clutch Bag seems to take some inspiration from the more old-school comic book shows - think about Batman and Robin with their theatrical flashes of *CRASH* and *WALLOP* to cover up any actual violence.
The joy of 3.1. Phillip Lim pieces, is that you don't really need to accessorise elsewhere when you've got such a bold piece.
You could go for other bright pieces, but you risk looking like a cartoon character. Ideally, this would look best with a LBD, or just one colour, possibly touching on the yellow or red in the bag.
