I can't quite believe this is a hat. It looks like a stunning piece of art. But it is a piece of headwear called Freedom from Etsy seller OnYourHead, who creates elaborate whimsical hats, fascinators and bags.
This Freedom hat is the most extravagant and detailed of the pieces, although the Follow Your Heart piece is a close second (but doesn't have quite the same level of cuteness). The Freedom hat seems to play around with the idea of having a birds nest hairstyle (if you like that concept, there's also a hat that looks exactly like a birds nest. For just £41.). How realistic is that bird too?
Is it wrong to buy it just to wear around the house? I could justify paying £250 for it then.
