alexalfw1.jpgWhen Anna Wintour describes someone as a "phenomenon", then they must be a pretty special person in the fashion world, wouldn't you agree?

Alexa Chung has been flying the flag for British cool ever since her early days as a model/quirky tv presenter, and she's come a long way since then. Still a regular cover girl for the likes of Vogue, Elle, and a bounty of other fashion magazines, Alexa is also a contributing editor at British Vogue, the host of US show "24 Hour Catwalk", the young style ambassador for the British Fashion Council, and somehow still working as a model when she gets a spare second! She's a muse to many (including us) for her personal sense of style, providing Mulberry with one of its best selling cult bags, the Alexa, and collaborating with J.Crew's Madewell on a womenswear line.

The modern day indie girl, Alexa can frequently be found on "best dressed" lists across the globe, and is constantly snapped on the front row of the coolest fashion shows with celebrity friends such as Daisy Lowe, Kelly Osbourne and Pixie Geldof.

This is a photo of the lovely Alexa on her way to see the SS12 collection by friend and designer Henry Holland at London Fashion Week. The outfit is a perfect example of her fondness for mixing luxury pieces with high street finds, which is exactly what we've put together for you in our "get the look" accessories below!
