In Her Bag: Catwalk Queen's Gemma Cartwright
Gemma Cartwright has been the woman behind your fashion choices for the last decade. Best known for her fashion blog and our sister site, Catwalk Queen, Gemma is an experienced online fashion journalist, editor, and beauty writer, with a passion for tracking down the latest fashion and beauty news for her dedicated readers.
Being the Editor in Chief at Aigua Media, Gemma is our go-to girl in the office. A self confessed workaholic, when she's not running in and out of meetings, she is either glued to her computer, making TV and radio appearances, or preparing workshops and speeches for events - I honestly don't know how she fits it all in, but somehow she manages. It's obvious to anyone who meets Gemma that she takes great pride in her job. She constantly works towards improving herself and the team as well as providing support and advice on anything and everything fashion and beauty related (her knowledge knows no bounds!) which comes from working with iconic brands like Topshop, River Island, MSN and Microsoft Windows.
As each day is different, so is Gemma's handbag choice. Tonight she's hosting a charity fashion show so she had several bags with her this morning - however, she is a bit of a blusher addict and usually carries this many with her!

I had my eye on this Linea Pelle tote bag for about 3 years before I finally caved in and bought it in the sale to justify shipping it over to the UK! I remember it being called turquoise on the website, but in real life it's more of a teal shade. I love it because it's beautifully soft and easy to accessorise.
After the sad death of my Marc Jacobs purse, I went for a Kathy Van Zeeland instead (it's nice, but it doesn't quite fill the void) and the pink oyster cardholder was a nice little freebie from the M&S press day.
My gorgeous floral notebook is from Liberty; my Parker pen is for making slightly less gorgeous, illegible notes at meetings.
Ok, I have a lot of blusher! The makeup here is pretty much my key kit, consisting of NARS orgasm blush, bare minerals blush, MAC blush, new CID blush, benefit posietint, a MAC eyeshadow, L'Oreal liner and mascara, Escada mini perfume, and an Inika brush. Choosing between them is like choosing between my favourite children, but if I HAD to pick two of the blushers I'd go for NARS or bare minerals.
I'm definitely a HTC girl - I don't think I could work with an iPhone! I've got my Dictaphone, my brilliant Kindle (I'm not willing to admit to anything that I'm reading at the moment!) and my creative MP3 player from the dark ages.
