Thanks to battery-operated fans, it's rare we're seen out and about with a paper fan these days. In fact, I'm pretty sure the last time I used one was either at a fancy dress party, or at school where we'd make our own out of folded paper.
But there's a certain charm about an old fashioned fan (even if you do believe that old chestnut that the energy you use up fanning yourself counter-acts the cooling effect!)
ASOS have created a series of fans featuring messages like 'Call Me', 'Smile' and 'Air Con'. The first one might be a cute way to flirt with a guy while on holiday!
