We love up-and-coming brands here at The Bag Lady, so we were interested to hear about Peony & Moore. Peony & Moore was launched in 2009 by Lucy Clayphan and Pam Palmer in response to the lack of high quality leather bags at prices that don't bust the bank. The brand manages to capture that middle market of real Italian leather that sits around the £99 and up mark.
The brand was recently shortlisted for the Local Business Accelerators Award (spearheaded by the Newspaper Society and supported by Dragons' Den investor Deborah Meaden), so they're definitely a brand to watch in the future.
One of the first bags I spotted on the site was this Mariella in Fuxia Pink, with its glossy bright finish and chocolate brown trim. It's also available in winter vanilla and marine navy (both grainy leather).
