One of the most interesting things about writing about fashion, and in particular with accessories, is seeing the design process and inspiration that goes into creating each piece. Often, nature is a big inspiration for designers, in their colour choice, shapes and fabrics. Why else do we have darker colours in winter and lighter colours in summer?
This LouLoubelle clutch bag is a great example. Louise O'Leary, who designed the bags, looked to nature and the changing seasons for guidance with colours. As you can see from the deer antlers, they've added some animal detail to the clutch clasp too.
Thankfully the animal inspiration doesn't extend to the materials used - vegetarian leather materials are used whenever possible.
