Earlier this week, I popped into Marks & Spencers to do a spot of Christmas present shopping. This plan promptly went out the window when I came across the hat section.
M&S does
fabulous hats. Into 40s chic? Go for a Cloche Hat (In fact,I totally bought this
grey Cloche). Big floppy 70s-inspired hats more your thing? Pick up this
wool floppy hat from the Autograph collection. Prefer something a little more modern? Go for this
slouchy beanie in nearly a dozen colours. At only £5, you could get them as stocking fillers too.
But I'm particularly loving this beautifully little beret. Decorated with a super-soft wool floral leaf appliqué, it's the kind of hat I picture wearing while cycling around a city on a crisp morning.*
*In my mind, cycling around a city doesn't involve a) other traffic b) bad weather c) sweating.
