Swarovski has announced the key players in its upcoming Swarovski Collective project for spring/summer '12: an elite sponsorship programme first established in 1999 in partnership with the legendary fashion icon Isabella Blow.
J.W.Anderson, Marios Schwab, Giles, Erdem, Mary Katrantzou and Craig Lawrence are the design talents chosen to be part of the project, and will be teaming up with the brand to incorporate their sparkling elements into their new collections for the coming year. The designers were chosen partly on the basis of their innovative use of Swarovski elements in earlier works.
The Bag Lady team attended the reception and also got a glimpse at some of the stunning pieces from Atelier Swarovski's spring/summer '12.These included jewellery pieces by Lady Gaga's costume designer, Zaldy Goco,
Gossip Girl stylist Eric Daman and Lacroix
illustrator Konstantin Kakanias. We were absolutely dazzled by the
jewellery, many of which incorporated giant-sized Swarovski crystals in
vivid colours.
