Piers Atkison was responsible for designing some of the most memorable accessory pieces we spotted at LFW, in particular the neon 'London' headband, which is based on one of his more extravagant pieces: hats featuring sign-style lettering that really lights up, as in the 'Paris' hat pictured above. Clients of Atkinson include Anna dello Russo, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Paloma Faith, and his approach to millinery is truly inspiring. You can check out his spring summer 12 collection here.
Now, Atkinson has teamed up with Freedom at Topshop to design a more affordable range of outré headpieces featuring a few of his signature motifs: over-sized fruit covered in glitter, miniature shoes and many more delights besides. Here are two of the pieces going into the collection:
