Marc Jacobs second show of New York Fashion Week showcased his mainline collection, and rounded off the week with some of the cutest items we saw during the event. Big shapes, exaggerated lines and tactile, textured fabrics predominated with some interesting colour combinations we haven't seen elsewhere.
Starting off with pastel blues and greens, the show continued to a series of yellow-based outfits and their accompanying accessories. There were gingham skirts with block-colour bucket bags, finally giving way to much darker variants on the them, picking up the fringed detailing on the skirts.
Silhouettes were mostly based around the bucket, the box bag and the hobo, but there were some variants on the hugely popular cigar-shaped clutch bag and box clutch, too.
