In what is surely one of the most blatant high street 'homages' we've seen in recent times, Religion have created a clutch that looks spookily like Alexander McQueen's iconic 'Skull' clutch. It even has the Union Jack patterning. We're not entirely sure how they've got away with it, but several big chains including New Look and House of Fraser are selling the bag, so we can only assume it's different enough from the original to pass legal muster.
It's hard to see where the bags do differ, however, other than the obvious much cheaper materials used to make the copy. So if a McQueen skull clutch is something you'd been hankering after but you have more pressing uses for £1k, you might want to pick up this version for a laugh. It's available in a range of colourways, some with additional embellishment.
