Chanel has just landed at Harrods, with hundreds of items from the fairytale-inspired A/W collection available to buy in store. But even if you can only afford to window shop, you'll be able to enjoy the extraordinary window displays installed by Monsieur Lagerfeld and his team - including the giant-scale 2.55 handbag pictured above.

Launched yesterday, the luxury label will occupy the third floor of Harrods with a exhibition titled Une Promenade; a glimpse into the near-mythical world of Coco Chanel with a miniature version of the Versailles gardens set from the S/S '11 show.

Located on the ground floor is the 1,600-square-foot Chantel boutique, offering clothes, bags, shoes and costume jewellery with a selection of exclusive pieces on sale especially for Harrods. There are also plenty of beauty products to choose from, including a limited edition Knightsbridge Collection by Peter Philips, creative director of Chanel makeup.

The installation will run for thee weeks only.
