On a recent foray to South Molton Street, the Bag Lady team were momentarily hypnotised by the dazzling display of clutches, hair accessories and other bejewelled trinkets in the window of Butler & Wilson. Not a store for lovers of subtlety (we can't see Kate Middleton picking up a loyalty card there any time soon). Magpies like us, however, are drawn to its unashamedly brash approach to accessorizing.
Butler & Wilson is jam packed with bling, and we couldn't help noticing that the prices were mostly in the 'not too bad' category for those willing to splurge or save: it's a little bit like Judith Leiber but with a bit more edge and a slightly more realistic price.

One of our favourite pieces from the window display was the gorgeous peacock clutch, which picks up on the trend for fan-shaped bags, and really sparkles. It's not currently available to buy online, but a similar and equally beautiful piece is this crystal peacock feather box clutch which retails at £498.
