Holly Valance really grabbed our attention at the opening of McLaren London Showroom at One Hyde Park last night, and it was her accessories that did the talking! The Aussie actress and singer wore a Moroccan-style powder pink highly embellished dress, teamed with an Alexander McQueen python skull box clutch in the exact same shade. What a find!
The clutch, which is worth around £1,450, is no longer on general sale but is one of a multitude of similar designs still winning acclaim and applause in the capable hands of Sarah Burton.
Our current favourite piece from her slightly softened take on the look is this leopard print version (£845 at Selfridges) but if you prefer the spirit of high drama espoused by Lee McQueen himself, you're likely to prefer the excesses of this Oriental Samurai silk-satin clutch.
