Forty years ago, a modest accessories business set up business in Somerset. Today, it's one of the UK's biggest global brands, defying the recession and quadrupling its profits as demand grows for its beautiful bags. If that's not a success story, we don't know what is, so it seems perfectly fitting that Mulberry should release a video charting their history from 1971 to the present day.

The video was created for Mulberry by artist Josh Gurrie. It begins by showing how founder Roger Saul came up with the idea, and goes on to explore the company's celebrity friends and affiliations with the likes of Emma Hill, Alexa Chung, Giles Deacon, Stuart Vevers and more.

The celebrations don't stop here, however: the iconic Bayswater has also embarked on a world tour, taking in sights such as the Coachella festival in California, Bondi Beach in Sydney, the shopping district in Milan and London's Natural History Museum. More destinations are planned for the Bayswater - you can follow its travels at Mulberry.com
