The Balenciaga First looks great in almost any colour, but the use of multi-hued woven strands here is a real visual treat. Emphasizing the bag's geometric style, each of the interwoven ribbons is made from the same exquisite quality leather as the solid-cut bags. You really need to see the bag close up to appreciate the quality of the materials: we love the way they all lock together so neatly!
This limited-edition bag is a bit of a bank-breaker, so probably not one to consider unless you're confident you will always be happy toting such a vibrant piece of arm-candy. Like all Firsts, it comes equipped with a removable shoulder strap and oblong-shaped pocket mirror for on-the-go grooming.
This has got to be one of our favourite editions of the First so far, and I would love to carry one as part of an eye-popping summer outfit, perhaps with some billowing silk that picks up on its neon orange or grape.
