When the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met the Obamas today, all eyes were on what the two ladies known globally for their sense of style had chosen to wear. As ever, both Catherine and Michelle were immaculately turned out, the latter wearing a 'Shola' bandage dress from British high-end-high-street favourite, Reiss.
And as for her arm candy: the long and lovely silk clutch bag that Kate is carrying is a black 'Maud' clutch bag from the Anya Hindmarch bespoke collection, shown here in silver. The bag is not currently available on general sale, but if Ms. Hindmarch knows which way her bread is buttered, we can be sure that this accessory will be appearing on the market any day soon. We think it's a great addition to a simple outfit, and adds a classic touch to Kate's contemporary look.
