There have been quite a few inevitable style comparisons between Kate Middleton and Diana, but here's one that we can't dispute. The bride-to-be has been seen out and about carrying a Tod's D-Bag recently, which was not only a favourite of the late Princess Di - it was named after her (the 'D' also refers rather neatly to the shape created by the bag's handles, which are long enough to sling over the shoulder for easy wearing).
Kate is in good company in choosing the D-Bag: as well as being a favourite of her late mother-in-law. Tod's most iconic model has also been spotted on the arms of Diane Kruger, Jennifer Garner, Leighton Meester, Nicole Kidman, and Julianne Moore. The look is completely timeless - as fresh now as it was back then, and would therefore make an excellent investment piece.
