Orla Kiely has really captured the spirit of summer with this delightful rope-detail handbag in achingly stylish navy and tan. Like many of the loveliest styles on offer for the S/S season it is what we might call 'nautical lite', with just the rope motif as a clue to its influences. We love the use of chunky cord instead of clasps, giving the bag a look of real laid-back chic.
It's also rather different from Kiely's usual, better-known styles, with no repeat patterning to speak of but a subtle punctuated version of her flower stem logo. The result is a very versatile bag with plenty of charm and character.
