Fans of the Mulberry Somerset range will be interested to hear that the hobo seems to have disappeared from the collection entirely, while a new version called the 'Somerset Shoulder' has taken its place. It's a little more slouchy than its predecessor, giving it the same sort of relaxed vibe as the Daria - but it still has the same universal appeal as the hobo.
The new shoulder bag is a little larger, a bit more expensive and has been brought more in line with current trends, due in part to the addition of a pair of large silver toned clips to attach the strap.
I've always thought that the Somerset range was the most timeless of all Mulberry's collections - never really in the limelight but always a good investment bet for an all-purpose bag. It's interesting to see they're still working on it.
