Many of Fendi's best known bags share the same slim, 'streamlined' appeal, and this characteristic slenderness was evident in its accessories for Autumn/Winter 2011. Many of the handbags on the runway almost had the look of briefcases or laptop bags, but with a variety of interesting embellishments and finishes that gave the show colour and style.
We're particularly fond of the retro-style flap over bags like the blue piece pictured above left, which has a real understated girlish charm. The gemstone detailing (right) is gorgeous too, and all styles shown here would work like a dream with colour blocking.
The bags were all notable also in the gorgeous textures used: from grainy finishes to highly polished leathers. It's refreshing to see so much strong colour on show for the autumn/winter season, and we can see these styles being hugely popular once they drop in stores.
