Christopher Kane's runway collection for A/W 2011 included a clutch of accessories that can be best described as 'wiggly'. And perhaps a little futuristic, whimsical and colourful, too. The bags, which were made of soft plastics with vivid translucent oil-slick colours underneath, were the ideal companions to the designer's crochet skirt and top combos and shapeless black tunics.
It's a while since we've seen plastics contrasted on fabric on the runway, and we're still adjusting to this look, which can be difficult to wear in the real world unless you're into cyber goth or in fancy dress! But we have to admit we're loving the wavy edges all around these clutches.
What do you think of the look?
