Balenciaga's love affair with blue continues with this bold, two-tone number that's found its way into the clutches of Nicky Hilton. It's easy to see why she picked this bag up today: the sky and ocean shades of blue match up with the pattern on her knitted sweater as if by design, and it looks like the perfect companion for going shopping (which we assume is all she's got planned for the day - that's what socialites do, right?)
Without seeing it paired with such a well-chosen outfit combination, I have to say I would not have been too sure about the shades used in this version of the Motorcycle. So unless you have the sort of mix-and-match wardrobe possessed by Hilton et al, you may find it often clashes a little. One thing I have to wonder about celebs who carry this many bags is how on earth do they remember which one they left their diary, keys, wallet in, etc? There's gotta be a down-side!
