Dolce & Gabbana, like Armani, was one of a small number of labels that opted to go for the unseasonal choice of monochrome shades for its spring/summer collection, but the result is anything but dull. Combining frothy white lace and crochet with neat black and white leather miniatures, the look was completed by shiny gold hardware that will no doubt catch the sun as successfully as it draws the eye.
Building on the success of the 'Miss iPhone' wallet, the range included a host of fun and seriously desirable miniatures. Vintage-style frame top purses clipped to the side of chain-link, quilted bags were a popular feature, which contrasted neatly against skimpy skirts and floaty fabrics.
