New York Fashion Week gives us a little glimpse of what's in store, both for London Fashion Week next week, and for the coming year. The bags have been coming thick and fast down the runway, and where better to start than with Marc Jacobs' accessory collection: a colourful range that dazzled onlookers.
The Spring/summer 2011 bags are not a huge departure from MJ's previous ranges, with a little tweak here and there to hit the right seasonal notes. "Miniature luggage" seems to be a running theme, and we love the foily sheen on some of the scaled-down suitcase style bags, particularly in the shimmery blue. The alphabet print he's toyed with before is even more prominent in this range, as are last season's pouch bags in a bold sunset orange.
