Dita Von Teese was spotted out and about recently carrying this jungle-green crocodile clutch bag, an accessory by Analeena. The Bag Lady hadn't stumbled across the brand before, but it certainly seems to have caught the attention of the burlesque superstar, who's worked them into her retro glamour look with no trouble at all. Dita said of Analeena's range: "Analeena's bags are the absolute height of high glamour!" So where have they appeared from?
From what little we know about the brand, it's been around less than a year, and specialises in classic styles in exotic skins. Designed by a character known as 'Lina H', a former buyer for Hermes in London, Analeena bags are available in Harrods, where the initial collection sold out within two weeks. The brand is aiming its reach squarely at the ultra high-end market, with bags fetching up to £8,000; and with customers like Dita on board, it looks like it may be succeeding.
