Topshop released a sneak peek of its new collection for autumn/winter 2010 today, and as ever, it's a good barometer for the direction high street fashion will be taking in a couple of months' time.
The collection is unmistakably autumnal, which some will like and others may find uninspiring, but many of the pieces from the range are not only fun and stylish items in their own right, they'll match up beautifully with what's going on in the clothing department too.
The Bag Lady loves the sheepskin-effect bag pictured top left, which itself looks like a cuddly sheep, minus the face and tail. Deer-stalker hats are going to be huge, and Topshop's version is warm, luxurious and on-trend. Our favourite on the handbag front is the cute Marc Jacobs style shoulder bag pictured above right, which has an oversized lock detail for that all-important bit of utilitarian chic.
