As wife of the only England football player (past or present) who hasn't done anything to upset anybody in the last week, Danielle Lineker can probably afford to smile. Dressed in a vampish red jump suit that has divided fashion opinion somewhat, the 31-year-old beauty showed us that for what she lacks in dress sense, she can more than make up in her accessories.
The irregularly-shaped bag, which reminds me of a very friendly bat, is Alexander McQueen's Stinkray Clutch; a wonderful name for a wonderful bag. Also known as the 'Stingray Da Manta' clutch, it's made from luxury suede and cuts a striking shape against contrasting colours. It's almost in The Bag Lady's price range too, so I may be back for a purchase if Mrs Lineker's style is still making an impression in a week or two. It's on sale at Matches though (still full price of £350 at Harvey Nicholls), so admirers may have to hurry!
