Apple has a good history of designer collaborations, most notably its beautiful range of accessories made by Mulberry. But it was about time someone took it upon themself to design a smart cover for the new iPad, and that someone was none other than Louis Vuitton.
Louis Vuitton's iPhone cover has been a huge success worldwide, so it's no surprise that the brand has followed it up with this chequered sleeve, featuring the classic LV monogram design. It will also be available in Damier Graphite and 'exotic leather' at the brand's New Bond Street store. At present, it's pretty unusual to have an iPad,. let alone a designer sleeve, so this should fast become the coolest geek-chic accessory around.
The Louis Vuitton iPad cover will be available in the UK from 15 May.
