Fashion Week Highlights: Marc by Marc Jacobs A/W 2010

There's a definite 'back to school' feel about Marc Jacobs' Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, which may be a bit drab and utilitarian for those with wilder tastes, but that's often the case with MJ's work. I happen to think his approach lends itself very well to this collection, with its sturdy buckles, luggage-style straps and upholstery.

For the more glamour-inclined, the high-gloss patent black satchel is both super smart and sexy, while the small chain bag is a great marriage of practicality and style. Once again, the darker colours predominate, but the choice of bright orange is a bold step outside the norm.
