Lanvin has become the latest high-end label to bring out a raffia bag, adding weight to the idea that we'll all be carrying baskets with pride in the coming season. It joins Chanel's Coco Country (pictured right); the country bumpkin version of the label's classic handbags, that you somehow can't help but love.
The new Lanvin style is a highly wearable, subtle and swingy bag that will blend in nicely with the season's pastoral styles. It contrasts with the Coco Country, which is more of an interesting museum piece.
