It's the time of year when popular styles begin to sell out, and the seriously driven shopper is forced on to the retail minefield that is Ebay. Like many such desperados, I went on for a look earlier today, more in last-chance-saloon mode than with any hope of finding a bargain...
This is at least in part because I've never had a great deal of luck finding designer bags on Ebay: the shoppers are too savvy for many real bargains to get through, and there's always the threat of copies and replicas being passed off as the real deal. But it's always great when you do stumble across a genuine seller with a nice bit of arm candy on offer: this 'brand new with tags' Anya Hindmarch clutch, for example, is still yet to attract any bids, and at time of writing, showing as £14.99. It may yet become the bounty in a bidding-war. But I like to think that some lucky soul might bag it at a fair price before any such nastiness takes place.
So how about you, dear reader. Have your experiences of bag-shopping on Ebay mostly been good or bad?
