Weird Accessory of the Week: Canderel pocket box set

It took me a good few minutes to figure out that I was in fact reading 'Canderel' (as in the fake sugar people) not Cacharel, but once I did, everything clicked into place.

Canderel has teamed up with French porcelain maker Bernardaud to make a limited edition luxury dispenser, which holds as many sweetener tablets as you'd find in a normal box. On the front of the box is a beautiful stylised poppy design, on a shiny ceramic slate. Tres chic!

Personally, I avoid artificial sweeteners like the plague, because I can't believe anything that sweet can be good for you, however low calorie it may be. But I know people who swear by them, and I can imagine just how much they'd love to pull out this sophisticated accessory while stirring their morning espresso.
