We make no secret around here of the fact that we are massive Luella fans but I'm just so bowled over by the range that's just hit the shops that I had to have another look at the bags in all their glory, coming down the A/W runways. Only then do you really get a sense of the exciting metallic and soft velvet fabrics, which look resplendent against the low-key winter wardrobe chosen for the models.
Luella's managed to pull of a 'crazy' tote bag that actually works here, which is more than I can say for many other designers including Marc Jacobs at the moment. She's also added some unusual and effective edging to the satchel, shown right. This is one of Luella's coolest ranges yet, and I'll be keeping a beady eye out for sales. [Via Bagcraze]
